Original set from 1987-1993
The Lladro Annual Christmas Bell Ornaments were a yearly tradition. They are hand-made and hand-painted by Lladro artisans. These fine bisque porcelain Christmas ornaments are dated and feature a unique design for each year.
The 1987 bell is the first in the series. The original design features 3 children playing in snow. The top band is painted a soft mauve and the bottom band displays the year 1987. It was designed by Lladro artist Jose Roig.
The 1988 bell features Santa Claus in his sled full of presents, being pulled by 2 reindeer, also designed by Jose Roig.
The 1989 bell features 7 angels each playing a different instrument, designed by Francisco Polope.
Includes original boxes.
All in mint condition.
