Vintage 1951 US Army M1945 Field Combat Backpack Canvas Rucksack Olive Drab GI Pack
Condition: Fair vintage condition with moderate to heavy wear. Interior water-resistant lining has extensive peeling, cracking, and flaking, as shown in photos. Fading, stains, and visible general wear on exterior fabric. Straps all intact with functioning hardware. Interior canvas label is present but somewhat faded.
Marked "U.S." on outer panel. Internal manufacturer stamp: CENTRAL SLIPPER CO. INC., Spec. No. MIL-P-3392, Dated 16 JAN 1951. Production and inspection stamping dated 24 April 1951. Typical for post-WWII, Korean War era US military gear.
Main body constructed of sturdy olive drab canvas with adjustable web straps, metal hardware, and top carry handle. Features roll-down water-resistant liner inside the pack. Field instructions, with diagram, printed on inner flap (faded).
Pack size (approximate): 14 inches wide x 15 inches tall (when closed/empty).
