Time capsule of unused, unopened 1965 “Star Candles,” Made by Hand out of paraffin wax in Brooklyn, New York
by the STAR CANDLE COMPANY. 12 candles in the box. Nice vintage packaging. This is from 1965. Box, Made by the “Philadelphia Box Folding Company,” is 4 3/8” tall and 4 1/2” lengthwise, thickness of box is 1 1/2”. Collectible Judaica. Collectible mid Century Americana (New York Americana). You won’t find something like this. Box color is reddish-orange and deep green. Don’t know why, but candles are upside down in the packaging. Probably something to do with good luck. Hopefully these candles bring you good luck.
