Sega CD Model 2 has three different versions and OEM laser head assemblies. The two most common are: KSS-240A and the JVC Optima-6S. You need to disassemble your Sega CD console and verify which laser head is installed. Each laser uses a different sized ribbon cable. They are NOT interchangeable. You must order the correct laser head for your console or it wont fit.
Please be sure you are ordering the correct part. Laser Head Assembly is packaged inside an anti-static bag and retail box. That box will be packed & shipped inside of a corrugated 32ECT crush-proof shipping box for added protection during transit.
