Marked with the green wreath "Hand Painted Nippon" backstamp. Measures approximately 5 inches in diameter. Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks (light gold wear typical for age).
The green wreath mark with "Hand Painted Nippon" indicates it was made between 1911 and 1921 in Japan (predecessor to the "Japan" mark after U.S. import regulations changed in 1921).
