This antique amber glass bottle dates back to the late 1800s and originally held Eskay's Albumenized Food, a nutritional supplement for infants and invalids. Marked on the base with:
ESKAY'S PAT. JULY 24 1883
ALBUMENIZED S FOOD
Made from thick amber glass, this bottle stands approximately 5 inches tall and features early machine-era manufacturing characteristics like a tooled lip and visible seam. A classic example of 19th-century pharmaceutical packaging.
Condition: Some surface wear and scuffing consistent with age. No chips or cracks noted.
A great addition for collectors of apothecary bottles, patent medicines, or early American health product.
As pictured.
