Seven editions which were at one point bound together but have been separated back into discrete magazines, which are more like long news bulletins. Articles, discussions, inventions - insight into the great age of invention in the years following the Civil War. Very accessible reading! Great for educational use. June 4, 1870 May 11, 1872 October 4, 1873 January 4, 1876 (great railway content) May 13, 1876 May 20, 1876 (Centennial International Exhibition content) May 25, 1878 Some issues have lightly penciled name at the top, and there are some minor folds and staining from being about 150 years old, but I see no damage that impedes reading and enjoyment. Nice readers' copies. Because paper still had a lower pulp content at that time, the sheets are in solid condition.
