This collectible bottle was filled with premium extra virgin olive oil, made from Coratina or Peranzana olives native to Puglia, Italy.
The ceramic bottles are entirely handmade by artisans in Puglia, involving shaping, kiln-firing, & hand-painting.
This bright colored, cheerful rooster is strutting under bright, colorful sun & clouds. White glazed 8.5” bottle.
A limited piece by Italian designer Stella Tasca, who transforms the rooster into a "floral" animal, symbolizing light and the connection to the land & olive tree, a core symbol of Apulian identity.
The Muraglia family has been producing olive oil over 80 years, focusing on preserving the biodiversity of the agricultural landscape in Apulia.
