VINTAGE Pennsbury Pottery Folk Art Mottoware 9" Pie Plate, Hand Painted. EUC. Only used as decor. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Pennsbury Pottery had its origins around 1950 nearby Morrisville Pennsylvania. The factory closed in 1970. This plate features an Amish woman in the center serving pies, surrounded by flowers a heart and a pair of birds. Quote reads: "When praising Words are not oft' spoken and Posies you will grow yourself ~ take this as a thank you token but don't keep it on the Shelf." It is marked on the back "PENNSBURY POTTERY 1042-41" as shown. Display stand is NOT included
