Finished, blocked and mounted vintage needlepoint, ready for matting and framing!
The image shows a seated Victorian lady in a blue ruffled dress, reclining in a wicker peacock chair, fan and cocktail in hand!
The stitching is well done, and the wool yarn is bright and clean.
The needlepoint has been blocked and mounted over card (so raised from the backing card) using staples. I have attached the original backing paper using tape to cover the sharp edges of the staples.
Please look at ALL the photographs as they are part of the description. Backing card measures approx 19" x 23", image is approx 14" x 18". Weighs 1lb 15oz before packaging.
