These snaps are not recommended for fragile fabrics
INSTRUCTIONS Work on firm proteced surface. >Apply snaps to 2 or 3 thicknesses of fabric, depending on weight of fabric. If
necessary, use interfacing or tape
reinforcement. You will need an eraser-tipped pencil, a hammer and a wooden spool. For each snap applied, use 1 decorative prong, 1 regular prong, 1 socket and 1 stud Mark position of snaps on top and
underside of garment
SOCKET
Place decorative prong with point up-on flat surface. PROTECT PRONG BY PLACING HEAVY FABRIC PAD UNDER IT. Position outer side of garment
over prong. Press eraser end of pencil down on cloth until all 5 points of prong pierce through fabric. -Place socket over points until all points
are in the deep groove. -Center spool over socket, hammer. It thumbnail can be forced between socket
and cloth, hammer again firmly. On
STUD
underside of garment, assemble prong and stud using same procedure as for socket.
