For your consideration is this vintage semi-vitreous china Ashtray produced by Homer Laughlin China Company. The date code on bottom, K 55 N 8, indicates it was produced in November of 1955 in Newell, West Virginia at their #8 Plant. This was jobbed for the Masonic Sunrise Lodge Number 288, F A.M., located in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The border of the dish in gold is the Masonic Square and Compasses Symbol, "No.288 F A. M.", "Y. F. S.", and "Sunrise Lodge" with all letter written in script. Additionally, there are twelve cigarette indention, three on each of the four sides. The piece measures 7.1 inches L x 7 inches W x 1 inch H and weighs 11.2 ounces. This is a unique piece of Masonic memorabilia and would be a valuable addition to any collection of fraternal organization artifacts.
Condition: Item is in good overall condition showing little to no signs of previous use. Stilt marks are present on the underside. Item has been steam cleaned.
