This is an original antique Cyclists' Road Map of Massachusetts from 1893, Part 3, covering Franklin County, Worcester County, and surrounding areas. Created expressly for the Mass. Division of the League of American Wheelmen (L.A.W.), this map was published by William T. Oliver and drawn by Arthur H. Richardson. The map is rich in historic detail and was designed to highlight roads most suitable for bicycle travel at the time.
The paper map shows towns, roads, rivers, and railways, giving a glimpse into the late 19th-century transportation network. It folds out nicely and features legible typography with great vintage character. There is one small tear at a top fold and some general wear from age, including creases and slight discoloration. Please review all photos to assess the condition.
