Hand Made Continental 800 Grade Silver Bookmark with letter M theme. Italian artisans in the Belfiore silversmith shop of Firenze (Florence), Italy made this 4.25”long, .75” wide bookmark about 35 years ago. 800 marking highlighted under magnification in two pictures signifies European Continental Silver. “STAR 329 Fl” marked, signifying Belfiore Italian craftsmanship, a small high class Italian silversmith near Venice. Weighs about 1/2 an ounce. Unopened, unused (not even opened for photography of this posting). The M is superimposed, finely detailed, showing the artistry of handmade workmanship in Florence Italy at the Belfiore foundry. You can’t find these around anymore. Great mint condition vintage hand made art. Has not been polished because the natural patina on a vintage item like this is special. Made in about 1988. If your first or last name starts with a letter M, this is for you or a gift recipient. The pictured bookmark C has already sold out. Just letter M is available.
