Crockett Vintage Etched Engraved Western Aluminum Horse Bit

LxW = 7.5” x 5.5” (see pics). The Vintage Crockett Horse Bit is a unique aluminum curb bit that embodies the spirit of Western Americana culture. Leaves are etched on both outer sides of the bit and “Crockett” makers mark is stamped on right inside of the bit. Made in the United States, this collectible piece showcases the craftsmanship and nostalgia of earlier times in American history. Oscar Crockett introduced spurs made from "Airplane Metal" (aluminum) in 1938. While this specific finding mentions spurs, Crockett manufactured a range of products for western horsemen, including bits, spurs, and buckles, using various materials including aluminum.
