Tall Vintage Knowles Taylor & Knowles Semi-vitreous porcelain Corset Vase 11.5

This is a tall vintage Knowles Taylor & Knowles semi-vitreous porcelain corset vase, measuring 11.5 inches in height. The vase features a beautiful hand painted floral rose pattern in many shades of pink & orchid on a muted aqua blue background color with a matte finish. The opening of the vase has been edged with approximately 1/4 of gilding to the rim on both the inside & the underside edges. It is an antique piece produced by the KT & K pottery company in Liverpool, Ohio sometime between 1854-1931. As can be seen in the pictures the piece has its makers marks on the bottom as well as 206 in gold leading me to think that this must have been a limited-edition decorative vase. It measures 3.25 inches wide across the top & 4 inches across the foot and in 11.5 tall making it a large, beautiful addition to any collection. It is a great example of beautiful quality made in the USA pottery from a bygone era. Please check pics carefully & feel free to ask questions.
