Up for sale is a factory-sealed 1997 Matchbox Hot August Nights 1st Edition die-cast car featuring the iconic 1957 Chevy in a red-and-yellow flame design. This piece is 1 of only 11,000 produced and comes in its original blister packaging (Mint on Card / MOC).
What makes this one truly special is that it has been hand-signed on the front of the blister in metallic gold ink by Arthur D. LeVesque, a Matchbox executive affiliated with the Hot August Nights promotional release.
While all 1997 editions have LeVesque's printed signature on the back of the card, only a limited number were signed in person at the Hot August Nights event in Reno, NV, making this a rarer and more collectible version.
