Overview:Up for sale is an incredible painting by one of my favorite artists, Hayashi Nobuo. This piece is incredibly painted, depicting two fishermen walking along a beach, poles held aloft. I love the shadows of the figures on the wet sand. Oil painting on stretched canvas. Framed in a nice gilt white wood frame. It is signed "NoBuo" in his trademark signature at lower left. I estimate that this dates to the 1960's/1970's. This is a rare chance to acquire a Nobuo work at a very low price.
Condition: Painting has minor scuffing along lower left edge. Otherwise, painting and frame are in excellent condition.
Measurements: Painting measures approximately 9 inches wide x 6.5 inches high. Frame measures approximately 14.25 inches wide x 11. 5 inches high.
