Poole #369 Georgian Footed Clam Serving Dish 12"x11" - American Sterling Silver

This Poole 369 Georgian Footed Clam Serving Dish is crafted from American Sterling Silver. With it's beautiful intricate pattern and stylish design, it adds a touch of elegance to any dining table. Measuring 12"x11", it is a perfect size for serving your favorite dishes. This antique platter is a unique addition to any silver or antique collection, with a history that dates back to 1900-1940. Poole, is well-known for its quality and craftsmanship. The dish has been well-maintained and is in very good condition. There is a slight bend / dent to the lip in one small area. (See Photo #9). There are also a couple small scuffs (1/2" or so / See Photos #16 -17) to the bottom. This item has a very slight amount of patina. But, it would polish up easily enough. I gave it a quick cleaning solely for the photos. There is no damage to the feet and it is perfectly balanced. Nice piece of American Made Craftsmanship. It weighs in excess of 12 troy ounces. Great investment.
