Vintage 1959 hardcover edition of The Secret of the Golden Pavilion by Carolyn Keene, published by Grosset & Dunlap. Volume #36 in the classic yellow-spine Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. This copy art and binding consistent with prints from the US in the 1960s and 70s.
Condition: No dustjacket. Black topstain present. Cover page left side has small crack in folds of binding, where canvas fell away. Interior is clean overall with some tanning and a few faint spots; several other pages have mild foxing, splotching and stains, though not intrusive to the text. Glue/adhesive found on page 89, same as found in binding. Possible repair from ages ago. Cover shows mild edge and corner wear with a notable nick at the lower front corner (see photo). Still tightly bound and very readable.
