LARGE 14 Vintage Chalkware Owl Statue Feathers Made From Pinecone Scales RARE!.
This is actually a large piece of artwork. This is a heavy 13+ pound 14 inch statue of an owl. Plaster or chalk-wear. Then it was painstakingly covered with individual pinecone scales. This is a one of a kind masterpiece. Unique. The eyes look acrylic. Im not sure what the beak is made from. The pinecones are attached, but they are fragile. Im keeping it wrapped in bubble wrap. It will be well packaged to protect damage to the feathers. Ive never seen one of these before. Im positive it was kept inside because its not made to endure the weather. 14 x 9 1/2 x 7. In a snug box it weighs over 14 pounds. For shipping, I will find a larger box, the bottom is covered. And you can see the indentation of a partially hollow owl. If anyone has any information on this type of art, please let me know. I dont know how to price it either.
