This vintage oil lamp/lantern is a beautiful piece that adds a touch of antique charm to any room. It measures 10.5'' tall by 4.75'' in diameter. The hexagon-shape & antique brass finish make it a stylish addition to any collection.
This piece is untested. There are quite a few defects. The door stays shut when latched & closed, but once opened it will fall off
There is a fair amount of denting, especially on the bottom base. The ring that holds the round oil/wick part is slightly unattached on left side
The part that holds the oil has residue from old oil that has turned green, & the wick has been soaked in it. It needs a cleaning inside and likely a new wick
I cant imagine that this wouldnt work once all clean, but I have not personally tried it
I have tried to honestly describe the things wrong with this piece
Despite its flaws its definitely still a beautiful piece with a nice natural patina! All the glass is fully intact. Please look at pics closely
