I'm selling this jacket because I don't have many opportunities to wear it. There is a stain on the sleeve (last image), but I think it can be removed by dry cleaning.

This is a rare design of a white tiger from a diagonal upward angle, dating back to the mid-1950s. The embroidery uses needlework techniques to emphasize the outline of the embroidery by showing the base color of the fabric in parts of the stripes, creating a more three-dimensional effect. The cursive JAPAN lettering is also large, adding to the powerful design.
The reversible side features a design of an eagle flying through cherry blossoms. The eagle and dragon embroidery on the chest is also delicately and meticulously depicted, showcasing the craftsmanship of the time.
VELVETEEN SOUVENIR JACKET
Early souvenir jackets were often reversible with acetate fabric, but there were also models made with velvety velveteen fabric as a variation of the time. The addition of padding increased the warmth, and the acetate on the reversible side was quilted to hold the padding in place.
