antique set of 2 different weighted sad irons with detachable hand carved wooden handle with iron lever
*the smaller iron weighs 2.14lb
*the larger iron weighs 4.14lb
*together with handle, they weigh 8.6lb

*unique handle detaches when you grip the wooden handle and then grab the small knob below and pull up with fingers to release the hold ( i have them strung together with twine to keep from separating the set)
*cool collectible, i do not recommend using, can you imagine having to iron with these monsters!?
** this set belonged to the family of a close friend of my parents, growing up and to this day i still call him ‘Uncle’, it was his family from which this set of irons came from, found in the attic after his mother passed. neat to know where they came from, and who actually used them ;)
