This handmade Japanese art pottery vase features a delicate and meticulously hand painted design of brownish rust flowers which I believe to represents irises and grasses over a light Celadon field. This natural landscape illustration is lovely, depicting Japanese flowers amidst grasses which wraps about the panels. The hexagon base is approximately 2 3/4". This creates a faceted six panel body and neck. It's approximately 4 1/4" at its widest point. It measures approximately 7 3/4" tall and is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. The bottom may or may not include a factory inclusion, but not certain. This stunning vintage Japanese hand painted Celadon ceramic art pottery vase is a very beautiful piece of fine art.
