Vintage - Appetite for Destruction Album Cover

July 1986, Guns 'n Roses unleashed what would re-define a music genre. Appetite for Destruction. Making use of artist Robert Williams 1978 iconic painting of a berzerk metalic avenger, a surprised robotic & a dazed victim, A.F.D went 18x platinum and to this day is still climbing ! Shortly after its initial release, vendors fearing that such an album cover might have an adverse affect on sales. So as a preemptive measure, retailers agreed to tone down the cover by replacing it with the tattoo that adorns lead singer Axl Roses arm. This vintage 1986 cover sleeve is testament to unfiltered artistic expression. It is a highly sought and rare find. The vintage A.F.D sleeve is framed in black & is displayed securely as a floating piece set against a mustard colored field & shielded by UV resistant glass.
