Artist: BLANCHE F. DAVIDSON (1933-2017)
About the artist:
Blanche F. Davidson was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She inherited her artistic gift from her family, and her mother's many creative abilities inspired her love for the arts. Blanche's early influence led her to pursue an education at Michigan State, where she obtained a fine arts degree. Afterwards, she became a commercial illustrator, and was able to develop her skills, and make a living. It was when she moved from her home state in America's heartland to Arizona, when she began to flourish in her art. She was inspired by Arizona's vast landscape, and the culture of the people of the land, which are beautifully depicted in many of her works.
