Beautiful orange spessartine garnets have grown on this nicely terminated smoky quartz crystal. This is nearly gem quality smoky quartz and features both inclusion garnets under the surface as well as riders /exterior garnets. It has a nicely shaped termination (tip) with one contact imperfection, and the sides appear to have elestial features.
Metaphysically, smoky quartz is thought to have wonderful calming and grounding qualities. Smoky quartz is also believed to be protective by ridding an area of negative energy. Garnet, the birthstone for January, is often associated with love, devotion, and passion. It’s also believed to be a protective stone, reportedly helping keep people safe during travel, from nightmares while sleeping, and also warding off negative energy.
