Yoga Yarn tea Towel Kits from Ashford
Weave six (or more) lovely, fresh and fun tea towels from just 3 cones of Ashford’s Yoga Yarn.
Yoga yarn has a nylon filament core completely covered by a cotton outer wrap. 2 ply. Will dye like 100% Cotton. 8/2 core spun cotton. 82% Cotton, 18% Nylon core spun yarn 200gm 1260m/1386yards. Wraps per inch: 24 Weaving set: 15- 20 epi.
This yarn is 35% lighter in weight than the 100% cotton in an equivalent weight. These tea towels are light, soft, absorbent and durable. It has the bulk and density you want but at the same time, staying “light”.
Ashford’s Yoga Yarn is super for new rigid heddle weavers to use as it has just enough give to make weaving cotton a pleasure.
Yarn Kit includes 3 color coordinated cones of Yoga Yarn and weaving instructions to weave. Requires 16” minimum weaving width loom. Reed Dent 15 DPI. Kit does not include stick shuttle.
