NWT Rare Portmeirion Dusk Pearlescent 13.5 Flared Aubergine Silver Waves Bowl
Large flared bowl measures 13.5 across x 5 deep made from layers of glass with purple and silver glazes. It has a modern sensibility with maximalist appeal. Use as a display piece or put to work for serving or dining.
The Dusk accessories collection was designed in Great Britain in 2000 by Jo Gorman of Portmeirion Potteries Ltd. and then made in Germany. Deep rich Aubergine glass and metal are the hallmarks of this modern collection using a technique that allowed silver and aubergine coloring to be sandwiched between clear crystal glass.
Discontinued, this experimental line of glass is rare and hard to find especially new with original label intact.
