This Hemingray-42 telegraph insulator is a model CD-154 from 1921-60. The color is aqua. It has round drip points. Size: 4 1/8" h. x 3 5/8" w. Condition: one drip point has a chip (see last photo). This condition is reflected in the price.

How to make an insulator candle holder:
Take a planting pot at least 5" dia. and fill it with sand. Make a hole in the center about 2½" wide and place the Hemingray-42 in it upside-down. Leave 2" of the insulator skirt poking out. Place a 1¾" votive candle in the center of the insulator. Put the pot with candle on a table or hang it with a wire or rope hanger (use a pot at least 6" w. if using a rope hanger). You can also put a small plant in the insulator (planting hole is 3½" deep).
