This model is based on the mountain rescue team pants of the 40's U.S. ARMY.
The unique backing satin made with a double-thread manufacturing technique has significantly fewer warp threads compared to regular backing satin, resulting in a distinctive appearance reminiscent of a crossweave, while also giving it a softer texture.
Since it has been finished with silket, it has less fuzz, a shiny quality, and, being dyed with sulfur, it expresses an elegant vintage look.
The characteristic zippered hip pockets have been intentionally removed, and replaced with welt pockets.
While the waist is set to be exact, the hips and thigh area are designed to be loose, with a gently tapered fit.
The vintage Talon zipper at the front is a delightful feature for vintage enthusiasts.
