This mug is a lovely turquoise on the upper portion and has a beautiful bird print on the lower portion. If you look closely it almost looks as if a very fine webbing of turquoise has been overlaid on a back ground of plum. I make each mug individually by hand so there is some slight variation but the mug you would receive would be very similar to the on in the picture.
The mug holds about 16 ounces and the shape keeps drinks nice and warm. The mug is safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher and l never use lead in my glazes.
This mug is made to be as functional and comfortable to use as it is pretty to look at. The handle is roomy and smooth and the curve of the sides cradle your hands in the warmth of your drink. If you would like you can add a matching lid to keep your drink extra warm!
