This is a high-quality inkjet reproduction of Hokusai's Warai Hannya (100 Ghost Stories, 1831) on archival-quality matte paper. It is mounted in a new 12 x 15 black wood and acrylic wall-hanging frame. The work depicts the Buddhist goddess Kishimojin who abducted (and in some versions of the story, cannibalized) children until the Buddha intervened and kidnapped one of her own children, causing a change of heart.

This is NOT a woodblock print.

Please check out the other framed prints on my page, including more ukiyo-e/Japanese prints! If you want to buy multiple items and combine shipping costs, please message me BEFORE purchasing. Ship two framed prints for the price of one!
