Handcrafted by Sara owner of Goldhawk Pottery Etc, in Buffalo, NY, this stoneware serving platter features a happy tuxedo cat. It is a uniquely versatile tray -- for serving food such as sushi, cheese and fruit – but it can also be a jewelry or valet tray, or a piece of art to hang on the wall. The black and white image was scratched or carved from black-slip on white clay - called sgraffito. It was painted with some white and black glaze then covered in a clear glaze. Finally, the sides are glazed in denim blue. It is a sturdy platter for so many needs. A great gift for the cat lover!
