About Black Fleece
Black Fleece is the highest-end line of the American brand Brooks Brothers. The official name is Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers .
It was launched in the Fall/Winter 2007 season with Thom Browne as the designer.
While incorporating classic button-down shirts (polo collar shirts), it proposes a new type of American traditional style, characterized by a more stylish and modern design. It also draws inspiration from past Brooks Brothers collections and reinterprets them in a contemporary way.
Thom Browne designed both the men's and women's lines for Black Fleece. His appointment as designer was a historic collaboration project with an external designer for Brooks Brothers, making it a momentous occasion.
The brand was discontinued in the Fall/Winter 2015 season.
