Vintage 1980’s
Orient & Flume was founded by glass artist Douglas Boyd in 1972. The original site was in Chino California at the corner of Orient Street and Flume Street. Hence the name Orient & Flume. By 1973, they moved to Park Avenue, Chino. They are still at this location today. Originally focused on recreating the fine iridescent works of Loetz, Tiffany and Steuben, their quality and originality led glass art aficionados to appreciate their own designs and styles. Their works can be found in many museums
