Have to love this Limited Edition TEDDY ROOSEVELT SAFARI (T.R.) teddy bear. Produced by Steiff in 1994 for the Toy Store to commemorate the Festival of Steiff IX and the 16th Annual Doll and Teddy Bear Show. Made of the finest brown frosted mohair T.R. comes to you in mint condition, complete with all of his Steiff IDs including the Steiff Button-In-Ear, White Limited Edition Ear flag (EAN 651854), chest tag and hang tags. T.R. is wearing a beige jacket that has two Steiff gold buttons on either shoulder, wire rimmed eyeglasses as well as his Safari hat. T.R. measures about 7 & 1/2 tall (19cm) and is a Limited Edition of only 1500 pieces. This T.R. is number 1125 of 2500
In addition T.R. comes with his Certificate of Authenticity which is signed by J.R. Junginger, the great grand nephew of Steiff founder Margarete Steiff. The right foot/paw pad is also signed by J.R. Junginger. Lastly, T.R. comes in a nice Steiff gift box. A great Teddy Bear and truly a collector's item.
