This old tin once contained Chi-Ches-Ters - Diamond Brand Pills. This was distributed by Chichester Chemical Co. of Philadelphia and the tin repeated warns against counterfeits and imitations. One end of the “Small Size” it reads; New Style - Adopted January 1st 1907. On the inside of the hinged lid is a picture of a young woman’s face with a gold crescent moon. Overall the tin is quite fancy in metallic red, black and gold with a shiny blue interior. Inside is a small tab punched into the metal of the bottom but I’m not sure what purpose it had.
It measures about 1 ½” by almost 2 ½” by 1 1/16” high and is in very good condition with nice color and gloss, minimal wear or paint loss.
