Overall, the piece is in great vintage condition!
The coloring is still vibrant, quilted with batting, and backed and trimmed with coordinating festive red Cranston holiday bear fabric. It has a sleeve for a dowel rod (not included) for hanging. The binding/trim at the bottom left corner has come unstitched but would be very easy to fix (I just can’t sew!). The white areas are not as crisp white as they once were, but again, great vintage condition!
Five Velcro dots are missing—umbrella room, bathroom, and toy room—leaving glue discoloration behind. Also a few spots with discolored glue showing behind Velcro—not too bad for being almost 40 years old! Missing OG bear; would be very cute to find a bear ornament to add your family’s spin!
This is the original 1980s Cranston version, not the QT reprint! Both versions are currently out of production and hard to find, the vintage being especially rare!
