This listing is for a cloth body art doll/ wall hanging with a painted wood disk face. The flat wooden face is 2 , the body from top to bottom is about 8 and a 7.5 width from the tips of each hand and about 1.5 width. The child has a 1 head and the body is 3 high and 3 from the tips of each hand. There is a ring in the back so they can also be displayed as a wall hanging. The face is painted with acrylic paint and the body is hand sewn.
This Spirited Woman folk doll with her child, is decorated with pretty vintage embroidered ribbon, vintage buttons and art button and glass beads that form the jump rope.
Her name is Norma and her child's name is Dodie. She loves spending her time with her child.
Each doll is made with care and takes a lot of time to complete. They are all ooak, although I may do similar styles at times. Each face is unique. I use many different things for decorations and trims, many of them repurposed or vintage.
