My supply of Queen’s PLATINUM awards from my father’s estate (he was the premier GOLD & PLATINUM awards maker for 50 years in the music industry) is limited. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by Queen, released on 21 November 1975 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. It was the most expensive album ever recorded at the time of its release. The album takes its (unlikely) name from the Marx Brothers film of the same name, which the band watched one night at the studio complex when recording. The album has been hailed as Queen’s greatest album ever and by music experts around the world as one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
