The fabric is 11 ounces and is manufactured using the yarn dyeing technology of Sakamoto Denim Co., Ltd. based in Fukuyama City and the weaving technology of Shinohara Textile Co., Ltd.
Primarily using white, fluffy cotton from the United States, the blend is customized based on the condition of the cotton each year.
In the spinning process, the carding process, which is usually done only once, is done twice to increase the uniformity of the fibers and develop a yarn with a gentle unevenness.
This 9-count yarn is dyed a vivid navy blue with pure indigo and used for the warp yarn, and the same 9-count yarn is woven into the weft yarn, resulting in a beautiful denim fabric with a pleasant texture.
