Vintage Half Gallon • Blue Glass Ball Canning Jar Perfect Mason • with Zinc Lid • Embossed #6 • Circa 1910-1923
a fabulous rare half gallon sized blue Ball canning jar from 1910-1923 with authentic matching Ball lid. Ball discontinued the blue glass after 1933 when they ran out of the special sand they used to make their glass. Jar is in superb condition for its age with no chips or cracks.
Glass is clear and not clouded. It is embossed underneath with the #6. Original screw top lid is included and is in great condition as well with no dents or damage. Lid is embossed with Ball logo.
