Wishdoctor is a high energy rock band composed of lead vocalist and bass player Matt Wheatley, guitarists Alex Quitana and Brian Mesa and drummer Troy Benson. The band formed in 1994 with an original cast that included former Caught In The Act drummer Steve Stuntz. After changing to the current lineup, they quickly built up a strong local following and came to the attention of renowned melodic rock producer Bobby Barth (Axe, Blackfoot, Rose Tattoo) who is well known for his production work with CITA, Guild Of Ages, Axe, Stan Bush, and the Red Rock Roosters just to name a few. Wishdoctor plays extensively in the western U.S. and is quickly building an international following.
