Section I – What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you create an account, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, purchase a product or service directly on Moviola.com, fill out a form or register for a webinar.
Depending on what you are registering for, the information we may ask may include any (or all) of the following: name, e-mail address, city, state, country, industry you work in, the company your work for, your job title, etc. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
When purchasing any of our products, you will be transferred to Paypal.com, where you can pay via the various methods they offer. We don’t keep any of the personal financial information (e.g. credit card number, etc.) you enter on Paypal’s site.
We also may collect non-personally identifiable information from users upon each visit to our Web site. This includes aggregated tracking data, which is used to analyze visitors’ use of our sites, such as page views, traffic flow, search terms, and click through. We use this information to improve our sites. We may also use this anonymous traffic and demographic information in aggregate form with advertisers, sponsors and other business partners.
Section II – What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To improve our website: We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
- To process transactions: We don’t keep any personal financial information (e.g. credit card number, etc.) processed via Paypal. Please see Section I above for more information about Paypal.
- To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
- To send periodic emails: The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

Section III – What do we do with the information we collect from our webinars?
Registration Form: When you register for any of our webinars, your information may be used by Moviola, the Sponsors of that particular webinar you registered for and the Presenter presenting that webinar to email you related services, products or other announcements. By registering to that particular webinar, you are giving your consent for us to share your information with the Presenter and Sponsors of that webinar. This statement is also clearly stated in the webinar landing page as well.
Questions, Polls and Comments: Any questions you ask, polls you answer, surveys you fill out or comments you make during the actual webinar is tracked by Gotowebinar.com and reported to us along with your information. That information may be shared to the presenter and/or sponsors (as stated above).
To send periodic emails: The email address you provide for the webinar, may be used to send you occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. from Moviola or its Sponsors. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
Section IV – How do we protect your information?
All payment transactions for any purchases in our site are processed directly through Paypal.com. We just link to their site for processing. We don’t store any of your personal financial or “sensitive” information (e.g. credit card number) in our servers. Paypal.com receives the credit card data only to verify the credit card numbers and process transactions.
We use iContact.com to send emails through. Your contact information is held there and protected by their systems.
Moviola uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as personal or payment information, on the User Login, My Profile, My Webinars and Password Reset pages of its website. SSL is a protocol designed to enable applications to transmit information back and forth securely. Applications that use the SSL protocol inherently know how to give and receive encryption keys with other applications, as well as how to encrypt and decrypt data sent between the two.
Moviola follows generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information during transmission and storage. Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While Moviola strives to use commercially acceptable standards to protect personal information, Moviola cannot guarantee absolute security.
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
Section VI – Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We may disclose your information to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety. Also, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. Please read Section II and Section III for further information.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
Section VIII – California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent (as stated in Section II and III above).
Section IX – Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
