ATSC

Overview

ATSC stands for Advanced Television Systems Committee, and is the digital television system used in NTSC countries. ATSC was created to replace NTSC with the rise of high definition digital televisions. This digital system consists of video displayed at an aspect ratio of 16:9, with up to a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Frame rates vary between 24 fps to 60 fps.
