Lighting stands and their connections most commonly come in the following sizes: Baby, Junior, and Senior. These sizes correspond to traditional Hollywood Studio Lights, which are actually called Babies, Juniors and sometimes Seniors. Baby refers to traditional Tungsten lighting in the range of 750 to 1000 watts. Junior refers to 2000 watts or 2K Tungsten fixtures, and of the three, Senior is the less common term, and a Senior light is sometimes just referred to as a Baby 5K.
