‘1917’ VFX: Before & After

Overview

Although Sam Mendes’ 1917 appears to be filmed in one, continuous shot, in fact 91% of the scenes contain  visual effects alterations. MPC Studio won the Oscar for its VFX work, and rightfully so. In this video, Fame Focus walks through several of the most visually compelling scenes in 1917, that were largely the product of VFX work instead of real-world camera and acting work.
