Roger Deakins sits down with ARRI to discuss his work filming 1917 with ARRI’s Alexa Mini LF. The camera is responsible for the gorgeous, single-shot action sequences that populate almost the entire movie. “It certainly served our purpose very well” Roger remarks towards the end of the interview. Deakins and 1917 won the 2019 Academy Award for Cinematography.
